Shred or Dead Ltd owns and operates three cafe locations across the Plymouth area and we're a young, ambitious, business that works hard to make great places to work. You'll make great new friends, learn new skills and realise that working in hospitality can be a proper career.

Cooks

Our team of cooks keep top quality food rolling out between 8.30am and 3.30pm each day. We pay a competitive hourly rate (part time) and salary (full time) with the most sociable kitchen hours you'll find, yes work/life balance can exist in the kitchen! Alongside this we have the option to work across all of our locations, we provide a pension, paid holiday and a meal on your shift. We hire both part time cooks working 2-3 shifts per week (plus holiday and sickness cover) and also full time cooks. If you're a competent cook with a genuine interest in food, holding a Level 3 food hygiene certificate then we'd love to hear from you. 

Front of House Staff

Responsible for making the magic happen our front of house staff handle customers, they get training in making great coffee, operating the till and even some retail work. Our cafes are buzzing 7 days a week so we have plenty of shifts available for those keen to work. We hire both part time staff working weekends or 2-3 shifts per week (plus holiday and sickness cover) and also full time staff on permanent contracts with holiday pay, pension and the opportunity to progress to supervisor or manager level.
